“ We use this fish & chip shop perhaps six times a year. Generally, the food is quite good. The chips are clean, suggesting regular changes of oil. They are golden & crunchy, but soft inside. The battered fish is of similar quality. Serving portions are reasonable. The souvlaki are a favourite, but not always within our budget. The hamburgers are also good, although becoming a rarer choice due to cost. The one item that always disappoints, is the spring roll. They are overcooked, very dark in colour, & way too crisp. Too hard to bite into without cutting inside the mouth. In fairness, it seems a common problem in fish & chip shops. No-one seems to know how to cook them. However, the one in my photo should never have been served to a paying customer. No more spring rolls for us! The shop is one of several stores so has a car park with good parking. The staff are friendly & the service efficient. ”
